CATAN® - 25th Anniversary Edition

Catan wanted to make their cover art come to life for their 25th anniversary edition. Instead of taking a 2.5D flat approach in After Effects, I proposed Utilizing 3D camera projection. By building base geometry, and then projections for all the objects in the scene, the camera’s parallax is even more realistic.

Displacement was used to bring some movement into the wheat, and waves.
